“If asked to describe my style I would have to settle on ‘abstract realism’ leaving enough unsaid to entice the viewer to complete my vision thus creating a link between the two of us,” says sculptor Frank de la Roche. When he is not teaching in the United States, Quebec native Frank creates his own works in his studio in picturesque Waupoos from local and imported stone, metal, concrete and rare wood. A recipient of numerous international awards, his work can be found in corporate and private collections around the globe. Open 10 am to 5 pm, May to Oct., (closed Tuesdays); open most weekends in the off-season, or by appointment.
