Welsh-born Canadian artist Graham Davies is a traditional black-and-white film-based photographer whose career spans social, industrial, documentary and journalistic photography. Graham now focuses on portraits and fine art images that range from gritty realism to flights of fancy. For his personal and fine art work he still favours his old Nikons and hand-prints in the darkroom using traditional materials. He shoots digital for commercial clients and believes “great images come from the heart and eye and owe little to expensive equipment.”
