There is something very appealing about the work of Robert Danielis, a self-taught carver who has been producing distinctive folk art for over twenty-five years. Artist-in-residence at The Waring House, Robert’s subject matter is extremely varied with pieces linked by his fine carving and skill as a painter. Perhaps the most important elements are Robert’s witticism and tongue in-cheek humour. Some say his works are like pages out of Monty Python or Gary Larson. You’ll find Robert Danielis’ studio at The Waring House (adjacent to the reception building).
